GLP-1 Strength Training
Losing weight is only part of the process. Strength training protects the muscle and the long-term result.

Weight loss without strength training is a setup for re-gain.
GLP-1 medications like semaglutide and tirzepatide are powerful tools, but rapid weight loss usually means losing meaningful muscle along with the fat. That hurts metabolism, body composition, and long-term success. Strength training is the lever that keeps muscle on the body while the scale moves down.
Built for adults using GLP-1s who want results that last.
- You're on a GLP-1 and want to keep the muscle you have
- You're worried about looking 'skinny-fat' after the weight comes off
- You want energy and strength to come back, not just appetite to drop
- You're new to lifting and need someone to teach you safely
- Your appetite is low and you want a plan that respects that
Three ways to train depending on where you're at:
- Personal Training — 1:1 sessions, taught from the ground up
- Programming — a plan in the FLEX App you follow on your own
- Open Gym — the room and equipment if you already know how
- Movement & body comp assessments to track real progress
- Coaching that respects lower appetite and recovery on GLP-1s
We are not a medical provider.
We don't prescribe, dose, or manage GLP-1 medications. Talk to your doctor about that. What we do is build the strength training side of the equation so your weight loss turns into a body you actually want to live in.
Common questions
Will lifting weights make me bulky on a GLP-1?
No. Caloric deficit + GLP-1 + strength training keeps muscle while losing fat. That's the entire point.
I have low energy from the medication. Can I still train?
Yes — and you should. We adjust intensity, volume, and recovery to match how you actually feel. Showing up matters more than crushing yourself.
Do I need to be losing weight already to start?
No. The best time to start strength training on a GLP-1 is at the beginning, so muscle protection is in place from day one.
Protect the muscle. Keep the result.
Talk with a coach about your goals, your medication, and where to start.
